Job summary

At Atlassian, you will shape a modern technical program management organization for Core Data Services. This senior role focuses on reliability, data platforms, and enterprise-scale infrastructure, reporting to the Head of TPM within the Data Platform TPM team.

You will lead cross-functional projects spanning engineering and architecture, aligning business goals with technical roadmaps and ensuring scalable backend systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (12+ years) with software teams.
• 4+ years leading platform/software teams in TPM/Technical PM roles.
• Experience with multiple datastores including S3, DynamoDB, SQL and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with GraphQL, Kafka, and Flink.
• Proven track record leading multi-team projects and managing risks and dependencies.
• Strong Agile software development experience.
• Ability to translate customer/product requirements into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into technical systems problems to be prioritized.
• Define programs and action plans around reliability improvements and more.
• Partner with engineers and architects to progress problems.
• Prioritize tasks, scope projects, define objectives, and make progress.
• Be accountable for lifecycle: forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Manage complex dependencies across the company.
• Collaborate to create disaster recovery solutions for Atlassian services.
