Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead strategic evolution of our financial analytics platforms supporting the Global Customer Fulfillment network. This AI-native role focuses on data solutions, LLM-powered reporting workflows, and autonomous pipelines to enable faster, more informed decisions across Operations Finance.

You will define multi-year roadmaps, drive alignment across engineering, product, and finance leadership, and mentor TPMs while transitioning from legacy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle of large, complex multi-team technology programs from concept through delivery — defining the long-term roadmap for data solutions, intelligent analytics, and platform modernization across WW Operations Finance.
• Drive consensus among Tech and Finance partners on strategic roadmaps and prioritization; influence the direction of multiple engineering teams and advise Sr. Managers and Directors on program strategy and trade-offs.
• Work with VP orgs to influence system owners, architecture decisions, and organizational priorities.
• Lead full‑lifecycle program execution for the transition from legacy financial reporting systems to a modern data lakehouse architecture with AI‑powered automated workflows.
• Champion the adoption of Generative AI tools and automation across TPM workflows; drive measurable productivity gains and establish best practices for AI‑assisted planning, execution, and reporting.
• Manage program‑level schedules, milestones, risks, and success metrics; resolve bottlenecks and balance competing priorities by leading through persuasion rather than direct authority.
• Own program communication — drive crisp decisions, clear blockers, escalation appropriately, and present effectively to senior leadership; draft strategic documents (MTR, MBR/QBR, design docs, PR/FAQ, OP1/OP2) that synthesize complex problems into clear narratives.
• Mentor and develop TPMs and interdisciplinary team members, raising the bar on TPM practices across the organization.
