Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Test and Evaluation Manager (Principal) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH to lead complex FMS test tasks and coordinate with government and partner organizations.

This role requires extensive DoD experience, leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, and the ability to develop and oversee test plans, evaluations, and documentation across acquisition phases.

The position offers a full-time, on-site opportunity with travel of 10-25% to support program reviews and site visits.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge and leadership in their technical/professional field.
• Initiates, oversees, and/or develops requirements for complex programs; provides strategic and technical guidance.
• 10+ years as a US military fighter/bomber background with DoD experience; 5+ years in test and evaluation and software testing.
• 10+ years supporting foreign partner requirements through FMS programs/policies.

Responsibilities

• Supports complex FMS test tasks coordinating and managing test planning, development and execution.
• Coordinates with DCMA, FMS partners, test organizations, and AFSAC to resolve issues.
• Supports partner nation F-15 avionics and weapons capabilities; complex weapon integration and systems.
• Provides expert-level issue resolution and recommendations to achieve program outcomes.
• Assists in designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of T&E programs to assess aeronautical systems.
• Review/develop/update program documentation for T&E management across pre/post award actions.
• Advises Government program source selections on T&E requirements.
• Supports Integrated Test Team (ITT) activities as required.
