SkyWater Semiconductors in Austin, TX is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of diffusion and associated fabrication equipment in a Class 1 clean room. You will install, repair, and document maintenance actions, and collaborate with shift leadership to keep production flowing.

Candidates should have deep diffusion equipment experience (TEL ALPHA, AVIZA AVP 200mm) and a strong safety/5S mindset.

Qualifikationen

• 10 years of experience in an Equipment Maintenance role within the Semiconductor industry.
• Associate degree or technical trade certificate preferred but not required; work experience considered.
• Experience with diffusion equipment and furnaces (TEL ALPHA, AVIZA AVP) preferred.
• Ability to work in a Class 1 clean room environment.
• Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and 5S culture.

Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines and equipment.Hours are C Shift: Thursday through Saturday in week one, and Wednesday through Saturdayin week two, from 6:55am - 7:10pmTool Area: DiffusionMajor Areas of Accountability:• Be part of an equipment services team in the semiconductor industry• Support and participate in a Safety, 5s, and Standard Work culture• Identify opportunities to continuously improve the area and factory performance• Interact with other team members toward the solution of problems, andthe fulfillment of manufacturing objectives• Make routine decisions based on area priorities that affect production materialand equipment• Work with the shift leadership team and other maintenance technicians todrive the team's overall success• Document maintenance performedRequired Qualifications:• Familiarity in Diffusion and have experience with TEL ALPHA Furnaces, AVIZA AVP Furnaces 200mm platforms/ equipment sets• Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.), or technical trade school certificate preferred but not required.
