Job summary

SkyWater Semiconductors in Austin, TX is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the implant equipment services in a fast-paced semiconductor fab. You will help ensure Safety, 5S, and Standard Work culture while maintaining critical implant equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Varian VIISta, VIISion, E500 and Vista810 implanters, a 5-7 year background in equipment maintenance, and the ability to work in a Class 1 clean room.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree or technical trade certificate preferred but not required; work experience considered.
• 5-7 years of experience in an Equipment Maintenance role within the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to work in a Class 1 clean room environment.
• High focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery and 5S culture.
• Capable of analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5-Why) and First Time Right repair.
