Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation seeks a seasoned Principal Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale enterprise initiatives across platforms and payment services. You will own end-to-end delivery from initiation through closure, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to meet strategic goals.

Responsibilities include shaping scope, schedules, budgets, and risk plans; driving best practices; and mentoring other PMs while ensuring compliance with policies. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications (e.g., SAFe, CSM) highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
• Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps).
• Experience working in the financial services, retail, hospitality, or payment processing industry is a significant plus.
• Ability to travel occasionally as required.
• 5-7 of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent, large-scale technical projects, often involving cross-functional teams and external vendors, from conception to completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with NCR VOYIX's strategic goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and communication plans.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and challenges.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in project management, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
• Mentor and coach other project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Evaluate project performance and outcomes, conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
