Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Principal Technical Engineer - Citrix in Cincinnati, OH. You will design and implement tech solutions using Agile practices and lead a cross-functional team to deliver critical Citrix-based services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant technology field.
  • Eight+ years of engineering or IT experience related to the position.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a highly-collaborative environment.
  • Deep knowledge of modern software development practices, tools, and hardware technologies.
  • IT security best practices proficiency.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions.
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Windows 11 Enterprise, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate management.

General Function

Design and implement technology solutions using modern engineering tools and Agile practices. Work with self-directed, cross-functional, and product-oriented teams in a highly collaborative environment. Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Eight+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment
  • Solid understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices, tools, and/or hardware technologies
  • Solid understanding of IT security best practices
  • Expertise in one or more technical and/or functional domains relevant to the position
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions
  • Technical skills per the specific position’s requirements;
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11 Enterprise, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate management.
  • Working knowledge of Citrix technologies, including CVAD, Citrix DaaS/Cloud, ADC/NetScaler, Workspace, Gateway Service, and Rendezvous.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, including Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of VMware virtualization, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, storage, profile management, and endpoint technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking and authentication technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, SAML, OAuth, MFA, and FIDO2.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security and end-user experience monitoring.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, with Dynatrace experience preferred.
  • Splunk and enterprise log analysis.
  • Security, vulnerability management, and remediation.
  • Change, release, and problem management.
  • Disaster recovery and high-availability design.
