Overview

The Staff Technology team enables the Chick-fil-A digital enterprise by partnering on purpose to empower business transformation. From technology consulting and design to implementation and maintenance, the team responds to stakeholder business requirements while bringing a forward-looking, systems mindset and approach to the work. Key audience segments include Chick-fil-A, Inc Staff members and select vendor partners. Key partnerships involve Talent Experience, Learning & Development, and Organizational Strategy & Planning.

This position leads the team responsible for supporting Chick-fil-A’s People & Planning Systems. As our Corporate Staff continues to grow, we aim to utilize and maintain the best technology platforms to support this expansion. You will lead a team serving as a liaison between Digital Transformation & Technology and the Talent Experience, Learning & Development, and Organizational Strategy & Planning departments, providing both custom-built and SaaS solutions to support Chick-fil-A’s growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead, assess, and mentor a team of business and systems analysts with domain expertise.
  2. Serve as a trusted technology advisor to the Talent Experience, Learning & Development, and Organizational Strategy & Planning departments, influencing and executing 3-year technology roadmaps.
  3. Assign work and guide prioritization to ensure delivery of business outcomes.
  4. Partner with the business and DTT to enable new capabilities (e.g., GenAI solutions, analytics).
  5. Implement departmental plans, adapting as needed based on resources or challenges.
  6. Manage the team’s budget.
  7. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates and feedback.
  8. Identify opportunities for technology or automation enhancements.
  9. Align work across areas to maximize value.
  10. Lead vendor selection for new SaaS products and oversee technical implementation.
  11. Oversee implementation and maintenance of candidate and staff privacy compliance.
  12. Assist with legal contracting and lead quarterly vendor reviews.
  13. Partner with vendors for system enhancements and integrations.
  14. Oversee external workers allocated to the team to meet business goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Leadership experience
  • Experience as a business or systems analyst
  • Experience managing budgets and contracts
  • Experience managing vendors and accountability
  • Experience with vendor selection and SaaS implementations
  • Experience supporting diverse work areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking, Learning, and Organizational Planning systems
  • Knowledge of data privacy
  • Experience with AWS
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Understanding of Talent practices
