Job summary

Nike Beaverton seeks a Principal, Tax External Reporting to lead global income tax provision processes and manage external advisors. You will own US GAAP tax accounting, drive accuracy in quarterly and annual reporting, and collaborate with Controlling, Investor Relations, Global Business Planning, and Treasury.

You will synthesize complex tax issues, provide financial insights to leadership, and influence across a multinational, fast-paced organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Tax, Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in US GAAP income tax accounting at a multinational or public firm.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with common tax and accounting software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Review US GAAP income tax provisions, journal entries and disclosures.
• Lead tax accounting analysis of complex issues under US tax laws.
• Coordinate with external advisors and auditors to ensure timely reporting.
• Support global statutory income tax reporting across regions.
• Partner with Controlling, Investor Relations, and Treasury to inform leadership.
