Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to join the Change Management Team on the GWS Program.

The role focuses on converting mission needs into executable scope and proposals, while managing program change to support Missile Defense Agency objectives. You will lead proposal development, perform technical and programmatic analyses, and engage with MDA customers and internal leadership to drive solutions and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's STEM degree with 5 years of software, test, or systems engineering experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of application.
• Ability to work independently with changing priorities.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive change actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Convert mission needs into executable program scope and proposals.
• Lead proposal development, to include scope analysis and creating artifacts such as risk/opportunity registers and cost analyses.
• Analyze technical and programmatic requirements; present findings to NG leadership and MDA.
• Support program baseline management; analyze cost, schedule, and technical implications of new scope.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain estimation models for systems and software.
