Odyssey seeks a Principal Systems Integration Engineer to support the sUAS program AFLCMC/WIS Asymmetric Warfare Division. The role is onsite at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, focusing on system integration across weapon platforms and OSS&E.

You will lead requirements development, risk analyses, and design reviews, applying DoD 5000 guidance along with MIL-HDBK-516 and MIL-STD-882 frameworks. Expect collaboration across multiple teams and ongoing technology upgrades.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Clearance: Top Secret.
• Master’s/Doctorate with DoD experience or Bachelor’s with extended DoD experience.

Responsabilités

• Apply DoDD 5000-series guidance and AF policies to SOF acquisition engineering activities.
• Support development and analysis of system requirements and translate to design criteria.
• Conduct system integration analyses, trade studies, and risk assessments across weapon platforms.
• Assist in developing system performance requirements and integration objectives.
• Review proposals, designs, and change packages; provide cost, schedule, and performance recommendations.
• Support airworthiness (MIL-HDBK-516), safety (MIL-STD-882), OSS&E.
• Participate in engineering reviews, TIMs, and program reviews with technical input.
• Support training devices and full-mission/operational system integrations.
• Provide engineering leadership in large-scale distributed and virtualized environments.
• Apply networking principles (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL) and proficiency with Windows/Linux/Unix.
• Guide IA accreditation and IA control implementation for ACAT I PIT systems.
• Deliver artifacts to support OSS&E, airworthiness certification, and lifecycle engineering per DAFI 63-1201.
