Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Principal / Lead Systems Engineer to support National Tactical Data Manager, the Over the Horizon - Targeting tool for Warfighting Services.

The role focuses on system analysis, engineering, and collaboration with government partners to ensure secure, integrated solutions. A TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required and the salary range reflects federal contracting expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as an SA in programs similar in scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years additional SA experience may substitute for degree.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, processes, and methodologies.
• Strong Linux systems administration and engineering experience; Windows OS familiarity.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications and software integration.
• Perform system hardening, patching, and other security activities for reliable systems.
• Communicate with program personnel, Government representatives, and executives.
• Collaborate with developers and testers on software development and system integration.
• Ensure technical integrity and quality of work products within the systems engineering area.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system architectures.
• Gather user data to identify and evaluate system and network requirements.
• Participate in a weekly rotating after-hours on-call team.
