Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Technical Analyst to provide expert-level technical analysis supporting decision-making, mission outcomes, and program effectiveness within the Federal Solutions team.

The role conducts in-depth research, evaluates systems and architectures, and translates needs into technical requirements while delivering high-quality analytical products to leadership and stakeholders. Active TS SCI w/ poly is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant professional experience in quantitative fields.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant professional experience in quantitative fields.
• Advanced experience conducting technical analysis and providing expert-level technical advice.
• Experience researching and analyzing complex technical issues, emerging technologies, and capability gaps in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex cyber issues, capabilities, operational requirements, and technology gaps.
• Perform technical evaluations of systems, platforms, tools, architectures, and proposed solutions.
• Conduct comparative analyses of technologies, products, vendors, and technical approaches.
• Develop clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and program stakeholders.
• Prepare analytical products such as technical assessments, white papers, and executive briefings.
• Translate operational needs and mission requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Analyze datasets to support program planning, performance measurement, and decision-making.
• Develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics as appropriate.
• Monitor technology trends and evolving cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
