Job summary

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Systems Engineer to join our team to develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities in support of US Cyber Command. You will evaluate and deliver technical input, develop system architecture, and guide integration and test planning within a Federal Solutions context.

The role requires active TS/SCI w/ Poly, a bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in Windows and Linux, and tools

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly.
• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 5+ years of experience.
• Additional experience and niche customer capabilities will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in both Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Ansible, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
• Interact with the governmentregardingsystems engineering technical considerations
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
• Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers
• Provide engineering guidance to technical staff andestablisheseffective working relationships
