Job summary

Ultra Maritime seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to lead radar system development across RF, mechanical, electrical, and software domains. You will guide design from concept to integration, performing system-level trade studies and supporting proposals.

Candidates bring 12+ years in systems/EE engineering, security clearance eligibility, and experience with radar or signal processing. Travel up to 10% is expected; you will mentor engineers and help shape future Navy-focused technologies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in a relevant complex engineering environment.
• Experience leading systems engineering teams on radar or similar signal processing systems.
• Ability to document and specify system requirements and perform trade-space assessments.
