Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Support Systems Integration (Level 3) to join its team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel Program. You will develop interface models (ICMs) and ICDs, apply MBSE to identify interfaces, and ensure cross-team integration for maintainability of a complex system-of-systems.

The role involves MBSE and interface development for mission-critical Sentinel equipment, collaboration with Design, ILS, and project management, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a master’s, 1+ year with a PhD)
• 1 year experience with developing interface requirements, models, and/or ICDs
• 1 year of MBSE tools experience (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)
• 1 year of experience with Requirements management tools (DOORS)
• 1 year of experience with CPLM and Siemens NX

Responsibilities

• Develop interface models (ICMs) and ICDs.
• Identify interfaces for the Support & Training Segments using MBSE.
• Integrate design and systems engineering across teams for maintainability.
• Perform analyses for Support Equipment (planning, verification, validation, cost & risk).
• Collaborate with Design, ILS, and project management on Sentinel equipment architecture.
