Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Interface Systems Engineer to join our Roy, UT team supporting the Sentinel (GBSD) program.

You will develop interface artifacts, work in an MBSE environment, and coordinate across stakeholders to mature interfaces from Preliminary Design Review to Critical Design Review and beyond. This role requires a STEM degree, US citizenship, a Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain SAP approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
• US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance, current within the last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
• Mk21/Mk21A interface management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature interface artifacts: ICDs, Interface Requirements & Verification Plans, architecture diagrams.
• Work in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
• Lead or support technical reviews and interface coordination across stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver interface solutions for the Sentinel program.
