Job summary

Northrop Grumman Missions Systems is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer for Integration & Test in Woodland Hills, CA. The role involves translating customer requirements into design, analyzing capabilities, and ensuring verification through tests, with agile collaboration.

Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years (or 5+ years for Principal) and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of engineering experience (Systems Engineer).
• Master's degree in a STEM discipline with preferred additional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify unique requirements from a broad customer base and translate into design documentation.
• Analyze product capabilities, performance, and verification methods.
• Convert requirements into total system solutions considering constraints.
• Perform functional, timeline analyses, and trade studies.
• Generate and manage multiple requirement sets covering interfaces, data and environmental needs.
• Coordinate with Agile teams to verify requirements through inspections, analyses, demos, or tests.
• Direct test directions to ensure proper production and troubleshooting tests.
• Develop simulation models for sensors and systems.
