Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Sustainment Software Developer to support the MILSATCOM Engineering, Integration & Test (MSEIT) at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. You will design, develop, and test software for the MDW application and collaborate with engineers to build web-based architectures that meet government needs.

The role requires a DoW SECRET clearance or higher, 9+ years in software engineering, and strong skills in C#, .NET Core, Blazor Server, SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, math or equivalent.
• 9+ years software engineering experience.
• DoW SECRET clearance or higher.
• Ability to manage relationships with DoW military and civilian clients.
• Self-starter with quick learning of new technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud deployed web-based applications.
• Understanding of networks and working with Sys Admins on web configurations.
• Strong programming/scripting, SQL design/maintenance, web design/architecture, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and IIS.
• Proficient in C# / .NET Core 8.0+ and Blazor Server; DevOps (Git, Azure Boards/Repos).
• MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test and debug software for the MDW application.
• Work with other software engineers to design web-based architecture applications.
• Provide technical solutions with minimal government input.
• Review logs to identify errors, determine root causes, and implement preventive solutions.
• Assist with data collection and migration from MDW code and SQL tables to JIRA/Confluence.
