EXP Services Inc. is seeking a Principal Surveyor in Chicago to lead complex surveying on highway, bridge, railway, and water resources projects.

The role blends field leadership with office coordination under the VP – Construction Engineering. The ideal candidate will have IL PLS, 20+ years of surveying experience, and strong AutoCAD, MicroStation/Geopak, and GIS skills, with willingness to travel and train others.

Qualifications

• Requires IL PLS or ability to obtain licensure in IL/other states
• 20+ years surveying experience preferred
• Willing to work remotely and lead survey crews
• Experience with field and office collaboration on projects

Responsabilités

• Perform surveys using traditional, GPS and HDS techniques
• Prepare ALTA/ACSM, boundary, topographic and related surveys
• Prepare plats, legal descriptions and property research
• Lead survey crews and coordinate with other EXP sectors
• Contribute to business development and project marketing activities
• Train other survey personnel as needed
• Operate in field and office environments on multiple projects
