LVI Associates is partnering with a respected, employee-owned engineering and geospatial consulting firm in Illinois to recruit a Survey Project Manager. The role offers ownership of projects, client development, and mentoring responsibility within a growing geospatial team, with a fully remote work arrangement.

The ideal candidate is an Illinois Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with 10+ years' experience, ready to lead and expand the practice while collaborating with a national client base.

Qualifications

• Illinois PLS license is required.
• 10+ years of land surveying experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing survey projects and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of boundary, topographic, and geospatial surveying principles.
• Experience leading and coordinating field and office teams.
• Excellent communication and business development skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing a practice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilités

• Manage a variety of land surveying and geospatial projects from proposal through completion
• Coordinate field crews and office personnel to ensure successful project delivery
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout project execution
• Prepare and review legal descriptions, boundary resolutions, survey deliverables, and project proposals
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
• Utilize innovative technologies and geospatial solutions to address client challenges
• Conduct site visits and field reviews as required
• Mentor junior staff and support the continued growth of the surveying team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout Illinois
