Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Supplier Quality Engineer for our Baltimore site.

You will lead supplier quality activities, engage with cross-functional teams, and drive corrective actions across programs in a high-stakes defense environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s in manufacturing/engineering, 5+ years of related experience (8+ for Sr level), willingness to travel up to 50%, US Citizenship, and the ability to obtain a government secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, quality or engineering; 5+ years experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Program, Engineering, Mission Assurance and Factory Cells to resolve supplier-related issues impacting manufacturing.
• Document, track and report supplier non-conformances and escalate critical issues.
• Develop and execute path-to-closure plans for non-conforming material with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain the approved supplier list and review supplier performance periodically.
• Lead supplier readiness reviews and supplier management plans.
