Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Supplier Quality Engineer for the Baltimore area. The role focuses on supplier quality evaluation, control and non-conformance management, with significant interaction across Program, Engineering, Mission Assurance and Factory Cells.

On-site at the Baltimore/Linthicum facility, travel up to 50%. Strong RCCA/FMEA experience and defense industry familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing, quality and/or engineering field with 5+ years of experience; or a Master’s with 3+ years in manufacturing/quality/engineering.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a government secret clearance.
• Experience in supplier quality, RCCA/FMEA, and working with defense suppliers.
• Travel up to 50% and on-site work at the Baltimore/Linthicum, MD facility.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Program, Engineering, Mission Assurance and Factory Cells to resolve supplier-related issues.
• Document, track and report supplier non-conformances; escalate when critical.
• Develop and execute path-to-closure for non-conforming material with partners.
• Maintain approved supplier list and review performance for continuance.
• Lead supplier product readiness reviews and supplier audits as needed.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
