Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Principal Small UAS (sUAS) Network Engineer for work at Hurlburt Field, FL. The role requires U.S.

citizenship with TS/SCI clearance to engineer and integrate diverse technologies for the Government Team Lead. The position spans networking, wireless communications, cybersecurity, and autonomous systems, with anticipated travel up to 15% and potential CONUS surge periods.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in network engineering or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
Strong ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures.
Experience with core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, routing, VLANs, multicast).
Proficiency in Linux administration and cybersecurity (STIG).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience briefing senior leadership.
Ability to work across multiple disciplines and organizations.

Responsibilities

Network solutions architecture development across multiple networks and classifications.
Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure.
Develop Network System Automation strategies.
Assist ISSM/ISSO to maintain secure postures and compliance.
Lead cross-network integration meetings and design reviews.
Provide on-aircraft integration support and testing activities.
Deliver technical briefings to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with government and industry partners on mission capability.
