Qualifications

  • 8+ years of pricing or contracts experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Ability to develop pricing recommendations aligned with policy and market dynamics.
  • Experience supporting contract pricing, governance processes, or pricing analysis.

Responsibilities

A Day in the Life As a Principal Pricing Strategy Analyst at Medtronic, you will play a critical role in developing and executing pricing strategies that support our innovative medical products and put patients first.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, review competitive pricing, and recommend strategies that ensure compliance and maximize value across all customer and market segments.

You will lead key pricing initiatives alongside your business partners while leveraging expertise to directly influence contract negotiations, product launches, and operational efficiency.

This position is primarily onsite, fostering a dynamic environment of professional growth, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, please ensure the following information is evident on your resume High School Diploma or equivalent, with 8+ years of relevant experience in Pricing or Contracts, or equivalent experience OR Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience

Nice to Have: Experience developing pricing strategies in medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries Knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and pricing impact assessment methods Ability to develop pricing recommendations aligned with policy, compliance, and market dynamics Experience supporting contract pricing, commercial agreements, or pricing governance processes Skills in interpreting pricing metrics, business performance data, and analytical outputs Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across pricing, contracts, sales, and marketing Ability to influence pricing decisions and support negotiation strategy through data-driven insights Experience managing large pricing projects or serving as a pricing subject matter expert Skills in coaching, training, or providing guidance to colleagues within pricing or contracts functions Advanced degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$110,400.00 - $165,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week:
