Job summary

FactSet is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to build robust infrastructure, automate processes, and drive engineering best practices.

We require 8+ years of SRE experience, strong Kubernetes expertise, and hands-on cloud, CI/CD, monitoring, and IaC skills. The role offers a competitive salary range in the CT/NY region and on-site work in Connecticut/New

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of systems.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise and hands-on experience with cluster management.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD tooling, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and improve production system reliability and availability.
• Respond to incidents and perform post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Define and track SLOs and SLIs; collaborate with teams to bake reliability in.
• Design automation to reduce toil and improve ops efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to capacity planning.
