Northrop Grumman is currently looking for an experienced Principal or Senior Principal level engineer in Software or Modeling and Simulation, with a strong background in C++.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in either Northridge, CA, Tucson, AZ or Linthicum, MD locations.
The successful candidate will primarily assist with integrating our C++ based simulation of the AARGM ER missile system into a system of simulations. The candidate must also be able to use our simulations to support live fire testing and to assist with verifying the weapon system with our simulations.
Our modeling and simulation team is a multidisciplinary team in which each member may have opportunities to work in software development, systems engineering, model and algorithm development, and various types of analysis.
The group is an excellent place for engineers interested in gaining a broad understanding of a missile system. The initial focus of this position will be software development.

Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $206,000.00
Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $165,500.00
The above salary ranges are guidelines; actual offers depend on various factors including experience, education, and skills. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, PTO, and potential bonuses.
