Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal/Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer - Mission Processing in Melbourne, FL.

The role requires deep expertise in mission processing, system architectures and hardware/software integration, with a Secret clearance and no remote work option. The engineer will define, design, integrate, test and certify hardware/software for mission processing, data storage, and networks, collaborating with IPTs and suppliers to meet platform

Qualifications

Experience with model-based systems engineering products and/or Mission Engineering in Cameo or similar tools.
Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work.
Experience with Mission Processing, Network and Communication design, development and test methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities

Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate mission management subsystems to meet platform mission objectives.
Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support.
Developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work.
Building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection.
Review documents from the supplier's development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews.
