The candidate will bring 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, strong data analysis, and the ability to present complex information to leadership. Proficiency with SAP and BI tools is preferred; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years)
• Experience interpreting and analyzing large financial data sets
• Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance

Overview

Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) – Advanced Effectors & Space organization, Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit, Tucson, AZ. The role supports a portfolio of development programs within the AET & IKCA Finance team, providing expertise in program control reporting, financial forecasting, and executive level briefing.

Responsibilities

• Execute all monthly and quarterly contract deliverable items
• Manage inter‑organizational transfers with partner business units, ensuring proper funding levels and scope are clearly identified
• Play an integral role in generating monthly financial forecasts for the portfolio in Rplan
• Serve as a trusted partner with program leadership to provide financial analysis and guidance, ensuring compliant cost collection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience interpreting and analyzing large financial data sets
• Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers
• Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret level)

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Eligible for annual short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation programs.
