EVONA is seeking a Principal Embedded Systems Engineer for space systems. This hands-on role spans custom embedded electronics, PCB design, schematic capture and hardware debugging.

You will work with embedded C/C++ in bare‑metal, RTOS and embedded Linux, developing drivers, BSPs and bootloaders, and supporting HIL testing and spacecraft integration. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in embedded electronics, strong C/C++, and experience in high‑reliability environments such as aerospace or defense.

Formación

• 7+ years of embedded electronics experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience bringing up and debugging custom hardware.
• Background in aerospace, defense, robotics or high-reliability hardware.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and Ethernet interfaces.
• PCB design, schematic capture and component selection.
• HIL testing, verification and spacecraft integration.

Responsabilidades

• Own embedded electronics behind spacecraft systems.
• Do PCB design and schematic capture for embedded boards.
• Conduct board bring-up and hardware debugging; develop drivers/BSPs.
• Develop embedded software in bare-metal, RTOS and embedded Linux environments.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure reliability in space environments.
