Job summary

EVONA is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to own the electrical architecture and hardware development of space drones from a blank sheet to flight. You will drive architecture, component selection, integration, and full lifecycle hardware for high-velocity space hardware programs.

You will lead hands-on design, build and test, work across avionics, power, and subsystems, and influence the vehicle from conception to orbit in an early-stage space startup setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing electrical systems for aerospace or spacecraft.
• Full lifecycle hardware development from requirements to flight.
• Hands-on engineering with hardware design, build, and test.
• Ability to define architectures and select components from scratch.
• Comfortable in an early-stage, high-ownership environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical development across the full spacecraft lifecycle.
• Define vehicle electrical architecture including power and avionics integration.
• Lead design through build, test, integration and flight.
• Select and qualify COTS hardware balancing performance and cost.
• Work hands-on to build, debug and troubleshoot electrical systems.
