Principal Solution Architect - Nike, Inc.

Location: Beaverton, OR (Telecommuting available from most U.S. states except AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY)

Job Description

Align strategic objectives with tactical demands and deliver technical solution approaches that describe the architecture required for implementation. Collaborate with functional leaders, technical teams, and executive partners to understand business and technology strategies. Lead the planning of a technology roadmap, develop solution options, and design based on the Financial Planning and Performance Management platform, enterprise security standards, and reference architectures. Drive discussions to identify business solutions within the current and future technology landscape. Maintain solution and technology inventories and work closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver architecture artifacts. Ensure architecture alignment across domains and functions, and collaborate with Foundational Architecture and Enterprise PaaS teams to prioritize capabilities. Promote standard methodologies to ensure consistency of solution architecture outputs across the enterprise. Provide strong business and technical thought leadership aligned with corporate strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems
• At least 2 years of experience in an architect-related role or similar
• Experience in software architecture, data privacy, data engineering, application security, data warehouse/lake, AWS Cloud Services, privacy and risk management, software engineering and design, reference architectures, and data governance
