Raytheon has an opportunity for a Principal Platform Software Engineer with well‑rounded Infrastructure Platform Engineering expertise to join an agile product team. The Ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional infrastructure design, provisioning, and deployment of compute, storage, and networking resources and emerging modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation technologies.
The Principal Platform Software Engineer would be involved with development, implementation of traditional compute, network, storage systems and related deployments, as well as support improving the program platform's over‑arching design through new emerging technologies. This includes existing operating systems and server hardware designs, as well as supporting the design and development of new modernized system architectures through automation tools.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
