Job summary

Kaizen Soft Solutions is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Test in Westlake, TX for heavy automation with web and mobile focus. Role requires 12+ years’ experience or 6+ with master's, strong QA strategy, and end-to-end validation expertise.

Responsibilities include building robust test frameworks, maintaining Playwright/Cypress tests, integrating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring production health with data validation and security considerations. On-site collaboration in Westlake area.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years’ experience with a bachelor’s or 6+ years with a master’s in CS or closely related field
• Designing and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API and Web with end-to-end validation
• Experience in test automation (Playwright/Cypress, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, ETL Batch)
• DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins Core, LWC, Monorepo)
• Source control experience (GitHub, Bitbucket/Stash, Sourcetree)
• Cloud experience preferred - AWS

Responsibilities

• Lead automation testing activities for web and mobile
• Develop and maintain robust QA strategies and test frameworks
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Collaborate on improving test coverage, release velocity, and production health
• Write and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, functional, performance, and interoperability levels
• Perform SQL validation and data seeding for automation
