Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field, plus 10 years of experience as a Principal Engineer, Software; Software Engineer; Software Developer; or a related position.
• Strong background in project management/change management for acquisition/development life cycles.
• Experience with systems development, implementation, upgrades and analyses; QA testing and code reviews.
• Familiarity with enterprise coding standards and writing highly complex code.
• Experience leading design/coding sessions and coordinating with analysts and users to determine requirements.
• Proficient in iterative software development methodologies and working in cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of Route Logistics business concepts and experience with open-source technologies and security.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software or significant enhancements.
• Lead design sessions with Architects to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Undertake complex projects requiring specialized technical expertise in software design and testing.
• Develop enterprise-level IT solutions and coordinate with business analysts and users to determine requirements.
