Job summary

RPM is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive technical excellence, design scalable user interfaces, and mentor teammates. You will lead development efforts across departments to deliver high-quality software solutions for complex logistics challenges.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with product, design, and architecture teams while maintaining best practices for security, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience building and operating microservices on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Node.js / TypeScript or Go/Python considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on industry trends to improve UX and internal processes.
• Design and develop user-focused software by analyzing requirements and flows.
• Ensure feasibility by evaluating requirements and designing system specs.
• Build scalable, distributed systems with intuitive user interfaces.
• Lead technical execution in an Agile environment; conduct code reviews.
