Job summary

Lead Bank, a banking infrastructure platform, is seeking a Principal Engineer to own designs and services across the modern banking platform. You will drive high-quality backend systems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, finance, and compliance to deliver scalable money movement, lending, and card-issuing capabilities.

The role requires 15+ years in production software, leadership experience, and an advanced CS degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of production software development experience at scale.
• Principal Engineer level or above in past or present roles.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own designs and services; set coding standards and best practices.
• Design, code, review, test, deploy, and maintain services in AWS production environments.
• Mentor teammates and navigate ambiguous problem domains to deliver high-quality systems.
