Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a senior software engineer to join our team, focusing on next-generation technologies for national defense across analytics, distributed systems, and UI design. Responsibilities include development, testing, and design input for large-scale systems using Java, C++, Python, Scala, Ruby and Go.

The position requires 20 years of software engineering experience and a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. Strong cloud, database, and CI/CD tooling experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a software engineer is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and use of COTS/GOTS.
