Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Seven or more years in DevOps, systems administration, or software support.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes for running apps.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with NewRelic and OpenSearch; maintain/integrate infrastructure tools like JIRA and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve the applications and environments, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
