For our client, we are seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will drive the design and delivery of high-performance software that supports scalable, secure services in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep Go expertise and a strong background in low-latency systems, with opportunities to influence architecture, improve developer productivity, and collaborate across engineering teams. You will also help shape observability, API design, and AI-enabled development practices that improve reliability and speed of execution.

In this position, you will mentor other engineers while advancing technical standards and evaluating emerging technologies that strengthen system efficiency and performance.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $225,600 – $338,400 annually
