Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC seeks a Principal Software Developer to design, build, and sustain ALD software and data services at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. You’ll lead development, testing, and RMF-aligned implementation while delivering end-to-end data pipelines and API services.

You will provide technical guidance, implement secure foundations, and mentor staff as part of a broader DoD-focused software program with DoD compliance and DoD software lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience with software and systems development across data pipelines, DB schemas, and APIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 14+ years with an associate's, 12+ with bachelor’s, or 10+ with master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support ALD software.
• Develop and maintain supply warehouse automation software and ALD web pages.
• Create comprehensive help files for all developed software.
• Produce static code reviews and participate in RMF processes.
• Analyze root causes, triage issues, and provide timely solutions.
• Provide training to ALD staff on productivity software and end-user support.
• Enforce secure system foundations aligned with RMF requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for DoD OPSEC alignment.
