Job summary
Consumers Energy, based in Michigan, seeks a Principal Software Configuration Analyst to lead COTS configuration, integration, and optimization across enterprise systems. You will partner with executives and business units to translate needs into scalable technical solutions, while mentoring teams and guiding architectural decisions.
This on-site role collaborates with agile teams to drive modernization, software quality, and vendor alignment, ensuring enterprise standards and long-term value
Qualifications

- Extensive experience configuring and integrating COTS in large enterprise environments.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, optimization, and strategic direction of COTS software products across the enterprise.
- Partner with product, business, and technical teams to design and deliver integrated technology solutions.
- Mentor and coach configuration analysts across experience levels with Agile and best practices.
- Build relationships with executives to understand strategic objectives and translate needs into effective technical solutions.
- Make architectural decisions aligning with standards and roadmaps; drive modernization and automation efforts.
