Job summary

Anthropic is building a dedicated silicon team and seeks a candidate who has shipped silicon or led end-to-end silicon projects. You will define specs, own interfaces, and make strategic architecture decisions. You will collaborate across hardware and software teams to enable AI workloads and support bring-up, debugging, and external partnerships.

Minimum education is a bachelor’s degree. The role is based in the United States with location-based hybrid policy.

Qualifications

• Shipped silicon or equivalent end-to-end responsibility.
• Experience with front-end design, pre-silicon verification, or physical design.
• Ability to make directional technical decisions with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Take part in end-to-end program activities: strategy, spec, execution.
• Write interfaces and keep them coherent as architecture converges.
• Make directional calls on tech selection and buy/build/licensing decisions.
• Collaborate with inference, performance, kernels, and infra teams on co-design.
• Support first-silicon bring-up and debugging with minimal scaffolding.
