Job description

Clearance type: Secret.

Travel: Yes, 25% of the time.

Location: Melbourne, Florida.

Essential Duties
  • Develops and integrates advanced technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic spectrum.
  • Develops and implements predictive analysis codes; builds and tests physical models; designs, develops, and builds test and verification equipment; and develops, tests, and integrates specialty materials.
  • Works closely with engineers of other disciplines to optimize the integration of this technology on existing and future aircraft.
Basic Qualifications
  • Principal Engineer (LV3): Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM and 3 years of related engineering experience.
  • Senior Principal Engineer (LV4): Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; or a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience.
  • Applied electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials.
  • Experience in one or more CAD software solutions such as CATIA, Unigraphics, or NX.
  • Ability to transfer and maintain a final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (must be in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in signature integration, RCS design, analysis, and testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use CAE and/or FEA tools (e.g. FMS, Patran, Cubit, etc.).
  • Proven experience with 3D Method of Moments (MoM) such as SENTRi and 3D Physical Optics (PO) codes such as Xpatch.
  • Programming experience in C++, MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages.
  • Knowledge and ability with RCS data processing tools, such as Knowbell, Saber, or Pioneer.
  • An active U.S. Government issued Top Secret security clearance and/or previous SAP/SAR clearance.
Salary & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $108,200.00 – $162,400.00.

Secondary Level Salary Range: $135,000.00 – $202,600.00.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and personal business.

U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
