MongoDB's Global Security Organization (GSO) is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead security architecture across product, infrastructure, and risk. This senior IC role emphasizes hands-on work, independent judgment, and the ability to push for risk-aligned decisions in a fast-moving environment.

You will collaborate with product and integration teams to secure autonomous platforms, mentor senior engineers, and own critical initiatives in identity, permissions, and incident response.

Formación

• 12+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep technical expertise in security across compute, network, and storage architecture.
• Experience forming and defending independent technical positions with sound judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain real technical depth in security and MongoDB's product architecture.
• Form independent opinions on security and architecture decisions and advocate for them.
• Lead cross-functional engagements such as M&A security due diligence and partner risk assessments.
