Seesaw Learning is seeking a Principal Senior Security Engineer who writes code, shapes our security program, and partners across product, engineering, IT, and legal. This role blends hands-on security with strategic leadership, owning SDLC security, cloud controls, and compliance efforts while building a security culture that scales with our growing platform in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in application security (threat modeling, code reviews).
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including IAM and networking.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically—hands-on and directive.

Responsibilities

• Own security strategy, roadmap, and overall posture.
• Lead threat modeling, secure code reviews, and architecture reviews.
• Build security tooling, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and security gates.
