Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead and implement security data platforms, dashboards, and analytics in Nashville. You will design and operate automated data pipelines, implement metric calculations, and deliver secure, maintainable reporting solutions that support risk decisions.

You will guide architecture, collaborate with security and engineering teams, and advance AI-enabled capabilities with proper validation, access controls, and data governance.

Qualifications

• 11 years of experience in IT security, developing security reporting solutions.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, including schema design and performance optimization.
• Experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines, API integrations, and data transformation processes.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting applications, or analytical tools for operational and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains automated integrations from security tools and source systems.
• Creates centralized data structures and ingestion workflows for reliable security metrics and reporting.
• Translates leadership needs into clear data models, transformations, and metric calculations.
• Develops dashboards and reporting apps using Oracle APEX or comparable technologies.
• Implements AI-enabled features and validates outputs with proper data access controls.
