Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a Principal Security Lead Engineer in Santa Clara, CA. You will drive security features across pre- and post-silicon for AMD SoCs and collaborate with firmware, RTL, SW, and architecture teams to deliver secure solutions.

You will lead security architecture, advocate enhancements, drive PSIRT fixes, and provide guidance to customers on security capabilities and programming requirements.

Qualifications

• Focused on computer architecture and security.
• Proven track record of pragmatic security requirements.
• System-level modeling, testing and characterization expertise.
• Understanding of CPU security/power/performance, SW, FW access, and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead security solutions for the server CPU program and drive customer adoption.
• Push PSIRT fixes to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Advise internal and external customers on AMD security features and requirements; train teams.
• Apply AI tools to identify and resolve security issues.
• Coordinate with SoC/IP teams to align with customer needs.
• Provide cross-functional debug support to customers with security issues.
• Deliver architecture specs and review proposals.
• Collaborate with Product and System Architects, RTL, PD, SW, Bring-up to deliver security solutions.
