Job summary

AMD is seeking a Principal Security Lead Engineer in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on secure pre/post-silicon designs for AMD SoCs, architecture security, and customer-facing guidance.

Lead security features, drive bug fixes, and collaborate across product, RTL, PD, SW, and Bring-up teams to deliver best-in-class security solutions. You will work with security engineers, firmware teams, and customers to ensure protections for register access, interfaces, and data.

Qualifications

• Strong background in computer architecture and security for CPUs/SoCs.
• Experience with security requirements, PSIRT, and customer-facing guidance.
• Ability to model threats and drive secure hardware/software designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead security solutions for the server CPU program and advocate enhancements.
• Drive PSIRT responses to mitigate vulnerabilities across products.
• Provide security consultations to internal/external customers and training.
• Collaborate with AMD teams to deliver secure architectures.
• Review architecture proposals and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Utilize AI tools to identify and resolve security issues.
