Qualifications

• PhD in immunology, pulmonary biology, cell biology or related field.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech translational research.
• Strong immunology expertise with links to lung involvement and ILD.
• Experience designing and applying disease-relevant in vitro/ex vivo assays.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor scientists in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide immunology-driven translational biology strategy for autoimmune ILD programs.
• Design and apply translational assays and complex model systems using human cells.
• Translate mechanistic biology into actionable project plans and decisions.
• Lead translational biology discussions within discovery and development teams.
• Mentor scientists, manage direct reports, and build team capability.
• Prepare technical reports and present data to cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate across Translational Biology and related functions to align plans.
